Who is the winner of this CXI Bowling Director's Cup

Once again this year we confirmed that bowling is the ideal team sport for CXI research staff. This year's "CXI Director's Cup" was played in large numbers at the popular Buddy Bar in the Liberec Arena. The cup has a new owner and who is the winning team? Read on :)

It took a bit of strength and a bit of luck. We scored more points this year, but we didn't break the local track record. The OABI team was definitely the best looking team in their elaborate costumes. Probably the biggest sensation was the rotation of 1st place winners. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

The event was filled with a competitive atmosphere, anticipation of how many pins would fall and how many points each of us would score. And in the end, it was the Machine Design Department team that shone the brightest. The beautiful traveling trophy goes on the shelf of the mechanical engineers. Congratulations!

Last year's winner, the team from the Nanochemistry Department, won 2nd place. Congratulations too!

All in all, it was an evening of fun, sport and enjoyment. Whether we were winners or losers, one thing was for sure - we practiced our technique and had fun together. Thank you to all of you who were there. We look forward to the next time with the rest of you.

A big thank you to all the participants and also to the organizers of the event. We are looking forward to the next one. It is important to create conditions for informal meetings with colleagues.
