2. 11. 2022
Representatives of industry and key representatives of the Czech and German economy met in Prague for the German-Czech Economic Forum GCEF 2022. Together they discussed and presented their solutions and strategies for the transformation of industry and its successful adaptation in times of crisis.
The main speakers were the German Minister of Economics, Robert Habeck, and the Chairman of the Board of Management of ŠKODA AUTO a.s. Klaus Zellmer. In their speeches, they clearly pointed out the enormous importance and potential of German-Czech economic cooperation and also confirmed that sustainability is a strong topic that we will develop and seek the best solutions for even in a crisis. The Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Síkela also spoke at the GCEF.
The panel discussions, workshops and roundtables showed that the commercial sector is future-oriented and looking for solutions even in difficult times. This can be achieved easier and faster together. At this forum, TUL CXI, together with partners from the German FRAUNHOFER Institutes IWU and IMWS, presented the international HPCTT laboratory and its project outputs at an afternoon workshop. "It is evident that the concept of cross-border cooperation on common research topics has proven itself and is working." said Jan Koci from CXI and Thomas Guenter from FRAUNHOFER.
The event was attended by 350 guests.
