Together we are researching a borderless future

The Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovations (CXI TUL Liberec) and the Fraunhofer IWU (Zittau) and Fraunhofer IMWS (Halle) have teamed up to form German-Czech High Performance Center for transdiciplinary systems research and transfer called Transtech.

The partnership has the following main themes: additive manufacturing, smart materials, lightweight technologies and Industry 4.0 including automation. Above all, we want to streamline research and ensure easy transferability of our outputs to industrial partners.

CXI has been cooperating with the Franhofer Society for several years. Currently, for example, in the use of 3D printing in prototyping and robotic 3D printing preparation, at the same time on additive technologies performed by robots.
