Electrospun Nanofibers and Applications Workshop

On October 7th-8th, CXI hosted the international workshop "Electrospun Nanofibers and Applications," supported by the Visegrad Grant (ID no. 22310110), with local organization led by Dr. Fatma Yalcinkaya.

How can nanotechnologies contribute to cleaner water, how do nanoparticles work to release drugs in a targeted manner, and how can nanofibers help in wound healing? These were just some of the topics covered at a recent nanotechnology conference.

The event gathered researchers and industry experts from the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, China, and beyond, to explore advanced electrospinning techniques and nanofiber applications. Notable industry partners included RESPILON and ELMARCO. The workshop emphasized global collaboration, fostering professional networking and facilitating discussions on the commercialization of nanofiber technologies across scientific and industrial sectors.
