The Centre for Industrial 3D Printing has a new promo video
16. 4. 2025
What does the future of industry look like when you shape it layer by layer? A new video, presenting the project of the National Competence Centre for Industrial 3D Printing from the Technical University of Liberec and its partners, shows how research, technology and sustainability meet in practice.
Why watch the video?
This isn’t just another dry presentation or generic promo. The new video from the National Competence Centre for Industrial 3D Printing shows how research is truly transforming industrial practice. You’ll see real-world applications, cutting-edge technology in motion, and the experts behind it all. Science here becomes a tool for more efficient manufacturing, greener production, and new business opportunities.
At the same time, the video presents the long-term vision and strategic direction of the entire project. It explains why the centre was created, what goals it pursues, and how it contributes to circular economy principles, cradle-to-cradle design, and the integration of research with real industry needs.
And last but not least – the video encourages involvement. Whether you're a company looking for new technologies, a researcher seeking collaboration, or a public institution aiming to innovate, the Centre is open to partnerships. This initiative aims to change the game – and you can be part of it.
What is P3DT?
The Centre for Industrial 3D Printing (P3DT) and its partners are building a strong national research centre focused on polymer 3D printing technologies. Their collaboration focuses on:
- ecological and energy-efficient manufacturing,
- a cradle-to-cradle approach and advanced recycling,
- smart use of natural and synthetic waste materials,
- alignment with the Green Deal and circular economy objectives.
The Centre is based in Liberec and is led by Ing. Jiří Šafka, Ph.D. and Ing. Jan Kočí from CXI TUL. It unites top research institutions, universities, and industrial partners to establish a long-term research programme that strengthens Czech industry’s competitiveness while supporting global environmental goals.
