Project:
Fatigue Mechanical Behavior of FRP Composite Materials for Long-term Design and Performance of Composite Structures in Marine and Offshore Applications
Registration number:TO01000340
Realization period:01.01. 2021 – 31.12. 2023
Leader at TUL: Seyed Saeid Rahimian Koloor
This applied research project provide the complex technology for prediction of the long-term
behavior and performance in design and optimization of FRP composite structures in marine and
offshore applications. The objectives are:
1. To develop a standard experiment program to characterize fatigue mechanical properties and
behavior for design and development of the composites structures.
2. To derive the multiple constitutive damage models through physically-mathematically-based
approach, and code it in FE-based software.
3. To develop the FE model and real-time simulation of the composite behavior under fatigue loading
conditions.
4. To establish a validated model and simulation process for fatigue analysis and design of composite
structures.
