This project is a new applied research in the Design of Curved Composite Structures considering the damage and reliability issues, in which the objectives are: 1. To develop an innovative experimental program and standard testing procedure on curved composite samples and structures, to address design criteria based on damage and reliability issues. 2. To characterize the mechanical behavior and properties, as well as the development of constitutive damage models (Mathematical model) to predict the linear-nonlinear behavior and multiple damage phenomena. 3. To develop 3D Model and Real-time Simulation of curved composite structure using High- Performance Computing. 4. To validate the model and simulation process, and quantify the characteristic evolution of damage in curved structure.
