Monitoring of the behaviour of rocks disturbed by mining activities

The project is a continuation of the work carried out at the Bedřichov adit and the Bukov site. The work has demonstrated the ability to detect the formation of a fissure system by seismic methods and resistivity tomography. The aim of the proposed project is to expand the number of indicators monitored and to use mathematical models to interpret the measurements. The result is to be a verified methodology applicable in the mining industry in the excavation of mine workings and their maintenance. This is particularly the case for the mining of hazardous waste and linear transport works.
