The aim of the project will be to find the factors that have the greatest influence on the fouling/fouling of ceramic microfiltration membranes during surface water treatment and ways to influence them. The study of the coagulation process and its optimization in relation to separation by ceramic microfiltration (MF) membranes should play a primary role. The aim is to correctly identify the limiting factors and their prioritization already in the pre-project preparation and to correctly design a suitable water pre-treatment for ceramic membrane filtration in order to achieve a better implementation of ceramic MF membranes in the technology of water treatment from differently loaded raw water sources, to reduce operating costs and to further exploit the potential of this separation technology.
