Pilot production line for realization of bacteriocidal and virucidal filters

The main aim of the project is to realize a pilot line for manufacturing bacteriocidic and virucidic nanofibrous filters usable in air conditioning systems for civilian and safety applications. Filter units eqquiped with functionalized nanofibrous membranes are allready in the prototype stage with proven high filtration effectivity for particles with comparable sizes as viruses and even smaller, and certificates of bacteriocidic and virucidic activities from acredited laboratories. These filters are presently manufactured by time and labor consuming way. The proposed pilot line will enable continuous and automated production of the funcionalized nanofibrous filtration membranes with maximal recirculation of all inputs. Optimization of the process will be a significant simultaneous aim.
