The project aims to develop an environmentally safe solution for liquidating vehicle accidents, spec. an ecological fire extinguisher (FE) and sorption nanofiber carpets with a microbial component capable of degrading petroleum substances (PS). This solution will reduce the negative impact of accidents on the environment - preventing the leakage of non-biodegradable, toxic compounds into the environment. The FE will be as environmentally friendly as possible and very good at extinguishing various types of fires, including electric car fires. Nanofibrous structures with a high sorption capacity will be prepared for the sorption of PS. To regenerate the sorbent, a biological agent will be applied, spec. a microbial consortium with a high biodegradation potential toward PS.
