Modification of the compact filtration cartridge for the removal of specific pollutants from drinking water

The aim of the project is the modification of the developed compact filtration cartridge for the removal of the specific micro pollutants from drinking water and verification of the functionality of the modifications in the laboratory tests and real use application. The compact filtration cartridge was developed in the cooperation of Bonno s.r.o. and CXI TUL in the project TH04030511 and have repeatedly proven high efficiency in the removal of the micro plastics, pesticides, drug residues and bacteria contamination. Modifications planned for the proposed project are aimed at removal of the chlorination by-products (THM), aromatic hydrocarbons, nitrogen compounds, and integration of the ion-exchange resins into the filter structure.
