Project:
SmartRainFlow
Registration number:FW10010209
Realization period:01.01. 2024 – 30.06. 2026
Leader at TUL:Ing. Martin Palušák
The aim of the project is a "smart" retention tank with advanced functions in monitoring, rainwater harvesting, and controlled emptying of the tank. The monitoring will include a set of physical and chemical sensors to control the quality of stored water. An element diverting the initial rainfall water to the by-pass will be used so that the most contaminated water (rooftop first flush) does not deteriorate the accumulated water quality. The entire system will be controlled by software containing self-learning modules that will monitor the volume and quality of stored rainwater, collect forecast data and send recommendations to the end-user. Decisions authorized via mobile app will be automatically carried out. The developed product meets the IoT and "smart household" concepts.
