Project:
Composite material with retention ability
Registration number:QL24010312
Realization period:01.03. 2024 – 31.12. 2027
Leader at TUL:doc. Ing. Stanislav Petrík, CSc.
The aim of the project is the development of a biodegradable composite material based on natural polymers that will retain moisture in the soil. Its other properties will be the attractiveness for the propagation of earthworms and soil bacteria. Thanks to the use of plant waste and other natural substances, the composite will be completely non-toxic and biodegradable. We will supply the required properties to the developed composite material using green chemistry and special surface treatments. Mathematical simulation and modeling of water permeation through the composite in soil conditions will be a part of the solution. Outputs: publications, utility model and certified methodology.
