The goal of the proposed COST project is to explore the potential of skill development, preparing interdisciplinary methodologies for human-centred technologies. This includes the process from identification and definition of the key skills to measurement in manufacturing and to feedback in education, as well as the identification of technologies that support and augment workers’ capabilities. The development will be based on a human-centred technology framework exemplified by the Operator 4.0 concept. The expected short-term project impact will be radically increased efficiency and competitiveness and substantial work-life improvements among the partner companies and, their employees.
