Project:
Removal of water pollution with Waste: an innOvative way tO turn Waste into value
Registration number:SS07020390
Realization period:01.04. 2024 – 30.06. 2026
Leader at TUL:RNDr. Jan Němeček, Ph.D.
The main project objective is to develop and use a sustainable method for persulfate activation (using waste materials) with high applicability in-situ.
Dekonta and the Technical University of Liberec (TUL) are experts in environmental remediation. Dekonta has many years of experience in the concrete application of innovative methods for groundwater remediation from various pollutants, such as chlorinated solvents and polycyclic hydrocarbons. TUL, on the other hand, is a leader in in situ chemical oxidation methods research, with a focus on the use of persulfates. Hence, in view of the characteristics of the two partners, the collaboration will be aimed at the development and application of a new method for in situ activation of persulfate for contaminants degradation in groundwater.
This project is funded with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic
