Development of materials and technology for the production of non-flammable cables

The aim of the project is the development of new fire resistant materials and their implementation in the production of power cables. The basic prerequisite is the development of materials with specific physical and mechanical properties that can be added to the cladding compound. The expected output of the project is a mixture of chemicals that can be introduced into existing production technology, e.g. in combination with surface treatment. Such a treatment can significantly improve the quality of electrical cables with regard to their functional properties, durability and, above all, safety.
