The intention of the project is to design, construct and test a compact, as easily as possible mobile device that will be folded to detect physical-chemical parameters in the aquifer. In heavily mineralised or contaminated waters, zones with sharp interfaces are created, which can be well monitored with this device. Based on such detected information, a more comprehensive understanding of the rock environment - permeability of layers and tributaries - can be made, and remedial measures can be better and more efficiently targeted and modelling of contamination spread can be done if contamination is addressed.
