Development of a pleated nanofibre filter for water treatment in hot tubs and swimming pools.

The aim of the project is the development of a manufacturing process and prototype of a folded nanofibre filter/ cartridge designed for liquid filtration, which would extend the current portfolio of the main bidder Nanotech Dynamics s.r.o. by the production of a new filter element. The application of the filter is targeted at the home spa and wellness sector, where we expect to see benefits in the form of higher water quality and lower consumption of disinfectants. In the course of the project, the prototype filter will be tested for a long period of time in the operation of a whirlpool and compared with existing standard filter elements in terms of water quality (chemical composition, microbiological safety), the amount of chemical disinfectants consumed and the energy and economic intensity of operation.
