Heat-resistant filter and separation fabric made of felt wool.

The goal of the project is the development and optimization of wool felt fabric for filtration and separation applications requiring temperature resistance. The resulting material aims to replace existing materials based on aramids, polyimides, fluoroplastics (Teflon), etc. The advantage of applying wool felt fabric is a lower price for temperatures up to 200°C, the possibility of ecological disposal, the availability of raw materials (now wool is rather a waste of agricultural production ) and specific properties. Functional samples of wool felt fabric intended for the application of separation and filter materials used in bakeries will be prepared and tested.
