The project aims to develop filters with modified nanofibrous membranes capable of selective separation of microorganisms of selectable sizes. These membranes will either be disposable, high-volume, biodegradable, or regenerable by backwashing and ultrasound. The filters will be used in the preparation of bacteriophage lysates. Emphasis will be placed on reducing material intensity to ensure reduced production costs, minimising environmental impacts related to single-use materials and increased filtration efficiency. The project's output will be a utility model representing a filter membrane and a verified production technology.
