Food Industry Waste Water Treatment Using Membrane Filtration

The main project target is the improvement of the food industry waste water treatment. Treated water will be deprived of undissolved particles and biological contaminants and will be used for technical application. The membrane will be regenerable during the separation process. In comparison with commercial membranes the prototype will perform better production rate and will be able to remove specific impurity from the treated water. The new design of composite membrane with nanofibres will decrease in energy costs. Cleaning system will consist of three main modules: 1. Preliminary treatment, 2. Nanofiber membrane filtration, 3. Final treatment.
