Advanced Mechatronic Component AMeCo

The aim of the project is the essential innovation of the screw connection element, which will be used for connection of different kind of materials, materials with different thickness or materials, which by exceeding the clamping force could be deformed or damaged. The Advanced Mechatronic Component will be developed as a result of the project. The component will be fitted with “smart“ electronics, mainly electronic sensors and actuators. This combination will increase the originally mechanical component into the IoT based element, part of the Internet of Things.
