Project:
Inovativní sorpční technologie pro eliminaci PFAS z kontaminovaných vod využívající modifikovaných uhlíkových nanotrubic
Registration number:FW12010066
Realization period:01.03. 2025 – 31.12. 2027
Leader at TUL:Ing. Tomáš Lederer, Ph.D.
The intention of the project is to innovate sorption technology based on carbon nanotubes (CNT) with the aim of achieving a proven technology effective for the elimination of perfluorinated compounds (PFAS) from contaminated waters. The sorption stage including the innovative adsorbent will be suitably combined with pre-cleaning elements. The entire technology will be verified and long-term tested on real waters on a semi-operational scale to monitor the effectiveness of the elimination of PFAS and determine the breakthrough curve of the technolog. arrangement. A partial goal is the development and validation of analytical methods for selected representatives of PFAS, the evaluation of the product life cycle (LCA analysis) and the determination of the toxicity of functionalized CNT.
