ADVANCED WASTEWATER POST-TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIES FOR BETTER RESOURCE PROTECTION

The main objective of the AQUA:PRO project is to boost research excellence and innovation capacity of the Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technology and Innovation at Technical university of Liberec (TUL-CxI) in the field of advanced wastewater post-treatment technologies through selected twinning activities with leading international research institutions in the field: Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH, Germany) and Universitat de Girona (UdG, Spain). The focus of the project will be on advanced post-treatment technologies for effective and stable treatment of effluents coming from wastewater treatment plants that will be based on usage of biomass carriers made of nanofiber/microfibers enabling fast and stable fixation of microorganisms, and highly effective sorption materials graphene oxide and reduced graphene.
