The transition towards the paradigm of Industry 5.0 poses several challenges, which encompass technological, human, organisational, social and ethical aspects. Leveraging the knowledge and research done about Operator 4.0, we focus on the new skill requirments coming from Industry 5.0 and thus Operator 5.0. It is essential to define the critical skills required for Operator 4Industry 5.0 roles and leverage technology to enhance workforce capabilities. Measurable criteria enable companies to continually assess and improve their employees' skills. A feedback loop connecting industry data with educational systems ensures curricula align with the evolving demands of the industrial ecosystem, facilitating a well-prepared and adaptable workforce.
