Project:

Adaptive extruder-based 3D printing technology for precise and efficient series production

Registration number:TF06000085

Realization period:01.04. 2019 – 31.12. 2021

Leader at TUL:doc. Ing. Petr Tůma, CSc.

Primary objective is the support for using the angular and cartesian robot for large-format multi-directional 3D print of composite materials. Deploying robots will enable quick respond to customer requirements even in serial production of large parts. Partial objectives: 1.Determination of the methodical procedure for measuring error deviations during the movement of the robot with regard to the rigidity of the entire movement system and possible ways of eliminating these deviations in order to improve the accuracy of printing, 2.Installation and testing of a special print head to be designed on the DE side, incl.testing of algorithms for multi-directional printing and sensors for detection of products quality.
