Project:
Síť pro produkty z udržitelných pokročilých materiálů
Realization period:01.01. 2026 – 31.12. 2028
Leader at TUL:doc. Ing. Stanislav Petrík, CSc.
The project aims to create a network of contacts between research organisations and SMEs in order to make sustainable advanced materials available to cross-border enterprises for fundamental innovation of their products and to increase their added value and competitiveness in a circular economy.
The project activities will present joint solutions (3 times) and their industrial applications of both project partners developed in cooperation with SMEs in the following areas:
- Smart composite materials with intrinsic sensor properties and nano surface treatments to enhance product functionality and durability
- Functional nanoporous materials based on aerogels and nanofibers for new generations of energy-saving insulation layers
- Natural and recycled materials for soil water retention, controlled fertilizer distribution and plant nutrition.
The essential added value of the cross-border cooperation lies in the combination of CXI-TUL's know-how in (nano)advanced materials and technologies with HSZG-ZIRKON's many years of experience in sustainable and circular solutions. Such a combination provides a high potential for expanding the competences of German and Czech SMEs and increasing their competitiveness by implementing sustainable advanced materials in their product portfolios.
The output of the project will be an educational platform for networking of research organisations and SMEs in the field of sustainable advanced materials, technologies and the possibility of their use in the upscaling of new products in order to increase competitiveness in the transition to a sustainable circular economy.
