Development of the smart breathing mask with the system of exchangable nanofiber filters.

The project is aimed at the construction and optimization of the breathing mask and the system of modular interchangeable filters that are tailored for specific application situations including the outside-employment environment. The project is based on the combination of know-how of the Gamatec co. in the field of design and fast prototyping with the expertise and instrumental facilities of the Technical university of Liberec (TUL/CXI) in the area of nanofiber material preparation, analysis and filtration characterization. Proposed construction design of the breathing mask meets the requirements for the economical attainability, easy manipulation, simple disinfection and non-contaminating filter exchange and adds the smart functions e.g. filter condition diagnostics and indication.
