Project:

Recycling of waste galvanic solution

Registration number:FW03010419

Realization period:01.01. 2021 – 31.12. 2023

Leader at TUL:Ing. Tomáš Lederer, Ph.D.

Develop separation procedures and describe them in the waste catalog, where they will be described for individual typical galvanic waste baths from an economic point of view. The separation method will be fractional crystallization, where the goal will be to obtain the purest possible recycled metal, which can be used repeatedly for the preparation of galvanic baths. The resulting mother liquor will then be treated by the existing procedure at industrial WWTPs, however, using a smaller amount of chemicals. There will be overall savings in terms of economic balance, which will also be supported by the sale of recycled metal. These outputs will be summarized in the waste catalog and the data obtained will be the basis for the design of the facility itself.
