Development of new glass jewelery components for circular fashion, including the development of glass molds and production processes

The goal of research is the development of a new product - glass components for the circular fashion and relevant molds. Circular Fashion is clothing or accessories that are designed, acquired and manufactured so that they are used and circulated in society for as long as possible. Innovative glass components will have a synergistic effect - they will use recycled material and at the same time will provide additional functions to clothing components. R&D will be focused on the shape of components, molds design, the composition of glass using recycled material (eg glass fibers, flat glass), as well as the form and preparation of recycled material (dust, shards, fibers). Methods of advanced modeling will be used and possibilities in the Rapid Tooling and 3D printing will be explored.
