Development of technological units for the elimination of PFAS from water using specific ion exchangers and combined procedures using electrochemical and sorption mechanisms. The specific objectives of the project are: - develop, verify,optimize and pilot test an automatic unit designed to eliminate PFAS and possibly other persistent toxic pollutants from drinking water. Under this point, the aim is to complete the development of small and medium-sized drinking water treatment plants with a capacity of up to 100 l/h; - develop, verify and pilot test units for the elimin. of PFAS and possibly other persistent halogenated pollutants from process waters; - determine the operational, technical-technological and econ.param. of both technologies and optimize the dimensions of technology.
