Microalgae enable CO2 fixation and contain valuable substances utilizable in food or pharmaceutical industry. Around 20 to 50 % of the production cost is the microalgae separation from cultivation solution. One of the possible separation method is membrane separation those the main disadvantage is fouling formation. Based on the knowledge of our laboratory we proposed mechanically agitated membrane reactor with draught tube and radially placed ceramic membranes for microalgae separation.
