Project:
Mobile high-pressure injection technology for decontamination of rocks and groundwater without the need for drilling
Registration number:SS03010337
Realization period:01.01. 2021 – 31.12. 2023
Leader at TUL:Ing. Mgr. Lukáš Dvořák, Ph.D.
Aim of the project is to develop, verify and optimize combined decontamination technology. It will be based on completely new principle of high-pressure injection of external organic substrates to support denitrification (removal of nitrogen pollution) in rocks and groundwater. The new type of high-pressure grouting head, which will penetrate the rock environment using torque and the principle of a rotating grouting screw, will ensure a longitudinal self-sealing of head with its simple design and its grouting channel will be guided through center to required depth. This grouting will ensure the disruption of the rock environment, ie the mobilization of the present pollution. It will also be possible to meter fine sand with the substrate in order to maintain permeability of rock.
