Development of advanced technology for the removal of pesticides and hormonal substances from wastewater

The aim is to compile a hybrid technology (physicochemical; biological separations), which will ensure the gradual elimination of pollutants down to the level of their negligible concentrations. The sub-objectives are set as follows: (1) testing of a suitable method of eliminating residual organic pollution; (2) selection, modification, preparation, and testing of materials and procedures for the capture of pesticides and hormonal substances; (3) design of a specific, combined sorption filler for the column and its laboratory testing; (4) compilation of complex technology and its pilot testing on natural wastewater.
