Project:
Energy potential assessment of brownfields and other areas for enhancement of energy selfsufficiency of a city
Registration number:TK03010013
Realization period:01.07. 2020 – 30.06. 2022
Leader at TUL:doc. Ing. Jan Šembera, Ph.D.
The project aim is the research and development of a methodology and tools for decision support in energy potential assessment and modelling on sites affected by human activities (brownfields) and for comparison of suitability of available areas for various energy sources (photovoltaics, wind energy, pump storage plants etc.) from point of view of potential, economy, end environmental impacts. The project outputs and results will be used as a base for decision making and they will be implemented into development studies, strategic and bussiness plans or urban planning documents or they can serve as a conceptual material of usability of areas for energy purposes incl. guidlines for setting of technical proceedings needed to optimal economical use.
