The aim of the project is a comprehensive functional development of the design of an intelligent automatic self-cleaning filter for increasing of liquid filtration efficiency, especially for efficient reuse of recycled water and for environmental friendliness operation. A complex research to increase filtration efficiency will be carried out by advanced modelling and laboratory measurement for verification and optimization of boundary conditions of numerical solutions. This creates systems to optimize concepts and ultimately innovative design of an automatic selfcleaning filter using advanced materials, including a bi-system filter element, for maximum
filtration efficiency. Functional development will also lead to a reduction in operational maintenance and operator's financial costs.
