We are preparing a new cooperation with Ramalaya University from Thailand

Technical University of Liberec and Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi will conclude a memorandum of cooperation. Both universities will support each other's cooperation in the fields of science, research, exchange of students, PhD students and researchers.

This was agreed upon during a personal visit to Liberec by CXI Director prof. Miroslav Cernik and President of Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art. The representatives of the RMUTT visited the laboratories of CXI, presented to each other the research programs and also the study programs at the FS TUL, FT TUL and FM TUL.

The first intern at FM TUL is Miss Saowaluk Boonyod. The PhD student is currently completing an exchange stay in Liberec under the supervision of Assoc. Fatma Yalcinkaya, Ph.D., M.Sc. Miss Saowaluk Boonyod is engaged in her research topic "Preparation and characterization of PLA/PBS fibrous material coated with mangosteen extracts".

Prof. Cernik is currently on a bilateral visit to Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, Thailand. At the invitation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-Art, he is attending the conference Nanomaterials and biomaterials.

The Memorandum of Cooperation will be signed ceremonially by rector Miroslav Brzezina and representatives of the Thai delegation in December.
