We have successfully completed the Data Driven Research project @CXI TUL

CXI and the CESNET Development Fund jointly conclude the successful "Data Driven Research @CXI TUL" project on secure scientific data management and automated collection.

The aim of the collaboration was to develop a methodology for scientific data management and security and to prepare a pilot implementation for automated collection of data (and metadata) from measurement instruments and their storage in the CESNET repository. The methodology was designed by the developers to be transferable to the emerging national repository in the future. In addition, another result is a system program code that is publicly available and allows deployment in other IT environments of all CESNET members.

"This project represents a significant advance in the management and security of our data and will allow scientists and researchers from different research areas to access data more easily and reliably," says Ing. Jan Kočí, who participated in the project as the project leader for the Technical University of Liberec.

The team collaboration lasted from 29. 6. 2022 till 29. 3. 2023.
