Experts from CXI and TUL at the Additive Manufacturing Forum 2023 in Brno

Experts from industry and academia met at this year's Additive Manufacturing Forum 2023 on 11 October at the Brno Exhibition Centre. On behalf of CXI TUL, our experts Jiří Šafka and Jan Kočí were also active speakers at the conference. Additive manufacturing and 3D printing are crucial areas of research for us, and as the lead investigator of the National Centre of Competence for Industrial 3D Printing (P3DT), we lead a consortium of nearly 30 partners. At this important forum, we actively presented our experience and achievements and the fulfilment of the P3DT goals.

Prezentace našich expertů Jiřího Šafky a Jana Kočího se zaměřily na spolupráci s německým Fraunhoferovým institutem a česko-německé kooperaci. Dále mluvili o aktivitách Centra pro průmyslový 3D tisk a věnovali se inovacím ve 3D tisku plastových, kompozitních a kovových výrobků. Klíčovou souvislostí je v kontextu aktuálních trendů celková udržitelnost aditivní výroby a její ekonomika. Na brněnském Fóru zazněly praktické tipy, jak z 3D tisku těžit a současně šetřit.

The forum offered eight hours packed with the latest 3D printing technologies and important debates on the future of additive manufacturing. Around 200 participants came to share their passion and knowledge about additive manufacturing and 3D printing.
