A method of in-situ remediation of a rock environment contaminated by harmful chemical compounds
The method of in-situ remediation of a rock environment contaminated by harmful chemical compounds where a remediation agent is applied to this rock environment by at least one application bore, and before and/or during and/or after its application, DC electric power is brought to this rock environment by means of at least one anode and at least one cathode. Its supply is interrupted at least once during the remediation and then recovered and/or the electrical voltage between at least one anode and at least one cathode is at least once decreased and then increased, and, consequently, the current density of the direct current electric power supplied to the rock environment, whereby the pH of the groundwater contained in the rock environment and the oxidation-reduction potential of this rock environment is brought into and/or maintained at a predetermined interval for the effective use of the remediation agent.
