InfiniProbe TS 160
Ing. Darina Liederhausová, Ph.D., ING.PAED.IGIP
The InfiniProbe TS 160 is a macro lens allowing modification to "long-distance" at 16x magnification. Standard with JAI or Basler color industrial camera. In this configuration, used for spray and bubble evaluation using the shadow method or for on-line inspection of industrial components.
IPI System
Ing. Darina Liederhausová, Ph.D., ING.PAED.IGIP
Interferometic Particle Imaging (also known as ILIDS) measures the size and velocity of spherical, transparent particles such as spray droplets, glass beads or air bubbles in water with sizes (3um - 1000um). The main components are a pulsed laser with light optics, a dual camera system and software on the DantecDynamics platform. The lab has a pair of 16bit HiSense Neo dual-frame cameras with 5.5MPx resolution. In this way, the PIV system can be interfaced with IPI and the velocity field and particle motion can be measured simultaneously.
Laser Doppler anemometry
Ing. Darina Liederhausová, Ph.D., ING.PAED.IGIP
Laser Doppler anemometry (LDA), also known as laser Doppler velocimetry (LDV), is an optical technique ideal for non-intrusive 1D, 2D and 3D point measurements of the velocity and distribution of turbulence in free and internal fluid flows.

NewWave Gemini pulse laser
Ing. Darina Liederhausová, Ph.D., ING.PAED.IGIP
Gemini PIV is a compact dual laser high stability system. It is a pulsed light source for Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV). Output energies of 200mJ (532nm), 45mJ (355nm) and 40mJ (266nm) at a repetition rate of 15Hz. Allows external TTL synchronization of mutually independent Q-switches.

Particle Image Velocimetry
Ing. Darina Liederhausová, Ph.D., ING.PAED.IGIP
Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) is a non-intrusive laser optical measurement technique for research and diagnosis of flow, turbulence. It finds applications in microfluidic chip development, spray development, atomization of liquids or aerification of gases. Another extension is the Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF) method, which is used in the measurement of temperature fields of liquids in closed vessels.
The Dantec Dynamics platform offers a range of PIV solutions to suit different research needs. Basic systems use a single camera to measure two in-plane velocity components. More advanced systems use multiple cameras to measure three velocity components in either plane or volume.
