SEM sample sputter Quorum Q150R ES
Ing. Pavel Kejzlar, Ph.D.
Combined carbon and precious metal sputtering machine, preferably gold, for surface conduction of electrically non-conductive SEM samples. Equipped with a 165mm chamber and a system for measuring the thickness of the deposited layer.
Sensitive robot KUKA LBR iiwa 7 R800
Ing. Tomáš Martinec, Ph.D.
Sensitive (collaborative) robot with a load capacity of 7 kg. Its main feature is instant contact recognition and the possibility of force reduction during movement, so that they can collaborate on the same parking lot with a human without safety restraints. However, their sensitivity can also be used for tasks such as assembling sensitive parts or solving geometrically uncertain tasks (e.g. handling parts made of soft or flexible materials).
Sequencer for Sanger sequencing
RNDr. Alena Ševců, Ph.D.
Measurement of nucleotide sequencing in molecules of nucleotide acids
Shadow method
Ing. Darina Liederhausová, Ph.D., ING.PAED.IGIP
A collimated red light source (630nm) together with a telecentric lens is the basis of the shadow method for measuring interactions of multiphase systems, i.e. liquid-material contact angles or interfacial interfaces.
SLM 280HL Metal 3D printer
Ing. Michal Ackermann, Ph.D.
3D printing of metal parts
The Selective Laser Melting technology sinters the individual layers of metal powder to create a printed part with mechanical properties comparable to the machined part.
Sorption analyser (Autosorb iQ-KR/MP, Quantachrome)
Mgr. Jana Štěpánová, Ph.D.
Determination of specific surface area and pore size of solids.
Spectrophotometer DR 6000, Hach Lange
Bc. Petra Šubrtová
The equipment allows spectral scanning in the ultraviolet and visible regions of the spectrum and contains dozens of programs that are used for the most common analytical methods.
Stemi 508 optical microscope
Ing. Pavel Kejzlar, Ph.D.
Stereoscopic microscope with digital image recording allowing photodocumentation and subsequent analysis of micro/macrostructures.
Stemi DV4 optical stereo microscope
Ing. Pavel Kejzlar, Ph.D.
Macroscope for routine visual observation of structures.
Stratasys Fortus 450 3D printer
Ing. Jiří Šafka, Ph.D.
The Fortus 450mc is a production system that is capable of printing high precision parts in various types of thermoplastic materials.
Synergy HTX Multi-mode Reader
Ing. Hana Tománková, M.Sc.
Plate spectrophotometer for quantification of molecules and analysis of biochemical processes
Termography FLIR – 335
doc. Dr. Ing. Ivan Mašín
Non-dismantling machine diagnostics (bearings, cooling, electrical wiring, warm-up check)
Tescan Vega 3 electron microscope
Ing. Pavel Kejzlar, Ph.D.
A basic scanning electron microscope with tungsten cathode for routine, undemanding analysis.
TGA-FTIR (Q500, TA Instruments - Nicolet iS10, Thermo Scientific)
Ing. Martin Stuchlík
Destructive analysis of solids and liquids to determine their behaviour during heating in a well-defined atmosphere and to determine the gaseous products formed during their thermal decomposition.
Time-resolved PIV
Ing. Darina Liederhausová, Ph.D., ING.PAED.IGIP
PIV system upgrade using SpeedSence high-speed cameras and Litron laser to study fluid closure. The lab has a pair of high-speed cameras, which allows for 3D time-resolved PIV.
Total organic carbon and total nitrogen analyser (in waters)
Daniela Myšáková
Determination of TOC and TN values in water samples.
Ultrafiltration unit
Mgr. Luboš Mrkva, Ph.D.
Hydraulic and retention tests of ultrafiltration membranes using Amicon® filter cells
UV-A photoreactor
Ing. Kateřina Bobčíková
Photoreactor for standard photocatalytic activity tests (ISO 27447:2019) and other photocatalytic experiments. The photoreactor allows the connection of 1-10 Philips TL 8W BLB G5 fluorescent lamps and the plate carrying the lamps can be placed in 12 positions, providing a range of radiation intensity from 50 to 1500µW/cm2. The semi-matt glass transmits UV-A radiation with a frosted top side ensuring even dispersion of the radiation. Samples can be orbitally shaken or left at rest during the experiment.
UV-VIS spectroscopy
Ing. Mateusz Fijalkowski, Ph.D.
Identification and structural characterization of organic compounds and determination of inorganic substances
Vacuum deposition chamber - RF PACVD/MS
