Project annotation:
The motivation for the establishment of the National Centre of Competence CAMEB is the decline or depletion of non-renewable natural resources, both material and energy, and the impact of this phenomenon on the construction industry. The aim was to create a centre where knowledge for innovation in construction is concentrated - in addition to the gradual improvement of existing technologies, materials and processes, we also want to link construction with other disciplines, especially information technology, cybernetics and process control, in line with general industry trends.
CXI is involved in two research projects.
STD4.0
The main objective for CXI was to introduce advanced augmented reality methods into the construction preparation process, optimizing the process of preparing BIM structured data including the design of automated conversion tools, using wearable AR devices for effective communication with the client - as a pilot implementation of one of the elements of Construction 4.0.
RESOPT
In the context of the transition to nearly zero-energy buildings after 2020, solutions are being sought to significantly increase the use of renewable energy sources while maintaining optimal indoor environmental conditions. The project deals with the development of advanced methods for the design of resource mix and storage capacities and new algorithms for their control using advanced features such as prediction of external environment conditions, prediction and monitoring of user behaviour, building dynamics or implemented simplified models of the main system elements.
