Vývoj mobilní energeticky nezávislé jednotky úpravny pitné vody pro pohotovostní nasazení v krizových situacích

  • Name: Development of a mobile energy-independent drinking water treatment unit for emergency deployment in crisis situations
  • Acronym: IMPACT
  • Provider: Ministry of Internal Affairs
  • Program: Security research
  • Coordinator: ENVI-PUR, s.r.o.
  • Duration: 1.1.2021 – 31.12.2022
  • Grant: 11 480 000Kč

Project Annotation:

In crisis situations where there are problems with the supply of drinking water (floods, pollution or insufficient capacity of the source, humanitarian and evacuation operations), it is necessary to ensure its rapid supply. However, this can be a problem when using existing capacities and a secondary source of PV must be sought. The project addresses this issue by developing a mobile PV treatment unit that can be commissioned on site within 24 hours and provide PV supply.
The treatment technology will be based on micro-/ultrafiltration (separation of biological agents) combined with sorption on carbon nanotubes (retention of hazardous chemicals) and disinfection. The technology will be installed in a container with its own diesel generator (independence from the surrounding power grid), thus increasing its application potential for emergency deployment.
