Council for Research and Innovation in the Liberec Region discussed at CXI
12. 12. 2023
The Council for Research, Development and Innovation in the Liberec Region held its 24th meeting at our Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovations of TUL (aka CXI).
On the agenda was the RIS3 strategy of the Liberec Region, which summarizes key tactics to support research, development and innovation in the Liberec Region.
The next item of the meeting was the presentation of the draft Regional Innovation Programme for 2024. The Board also discussed applications from those interested in the Liberec Region's Assistance Vouchers.
"The programme is aimed at subsidising the preparation of large international research projects and is open to both academia and business. The Liberec Region has been helping innovative research activities with its assistance vouchers for many years and the Technical University of Liberec is one of the successful applicants," says Jiří Ulvr, member of the Regional Council and Chairman of the Council for Research, Development and Innovation in the Liberec Region.
In addition to the meeting, the council members at CXI got acquainted with the 3D printing laboratory and saw the unique equipment with which the expert team led by Jiří Šafka works. They also learned about prepress preparation and finished prototypes.
"It was a productive meeting. The members of the Council were able to meet directly in the largest research and science centre in the Liberec Region, i.e. where "science is done". This was very inspiring. Together we are moving research, development and innovation forward in the Liberec Region," says Miroslav Černík, Director of the Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovations at TUL.
