Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Rep. on visit at CXI

At CXI we welcomed Monika Ladmanová, Head of the Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic. Together with her colleagues she came to Liberec for a visit. The programme of the visit included important meetings and activities that reflected the close cooperation between the Czech Republic and the European Union on the occasion of our country's 20 years in the EU.

The delegation also visited the Technical University of Liberec, where a debate with students on the EU as a geopolitical player was held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Czech Republic's membership in the EU.

In the next part of the programme, the delegation also visited the Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovations at TUL, where we presented our research activities.

"Ms Ladman toured the nanochemistry and 3D printing laboratories at CXI TUL and took a keen interest in our research work. It is great that such prominent personalities show interest in our work and appreciate our efforts in the field of innovation and research," said Miroslav Černík, Director of the Institute for Nanomaterials, Advanced Technologies and Innovations of TUL.

Ms Ladmanová met with Governor Puta and visited the Business Incubator of the Liberec Region, she also met with the Mayor of the city, Mr Zámečník.
