Podle databáze Scopus patří mezi 2 % nejcitovanějších vědců na světě a je držitelem ceny Publons 2019: 1 % nejlepších recenzentů v oboru Environment and Cross-Field. Je členem redakčního týmu např. časopisů Chemical Engineering Journal (IF: 16.744) a Catalysts (IF: 4.501).
Byl také vedoucím projektu GAČR jr, který získal v roce 2019 (excelentně hodnocen v roce 2023).
